Normally, an Anniversary shoot has a lot of planning time afforded to it. The location is secured months in advance, the scenarios are fleshed out, and I have at least an idea what will happen based on past occurrences. An outline of each day’s events, whether it be the helicopter landing in Hawaii or the awarding of the truck from the Island, is prepared, and I can count on quirks I’ve learned about the models to work the way they have in the past. The variables are fairly well known, all things considered.
